The Drehgriffel Nr. 2 wins the coveted
Red Dot Design Award 2022
The Red Dot Design Award is one of the leading and most
prestigious design competitions in the world, and the Red
Dot Label is regarded as an international quality seal for
outstanding design.
The
winners in the Stationary category is the Drehgriffel Nr. 2.
The pencil with a twist mechanism is an unmistakable and
distinctive writing instrument that stands out from the crowd,
and not just because of its great quality and functionality. In
2020, Drehgriffel Nr. 1 – which is inspired by the 1920s and
features a hexagonal barrel with a colour-contrasting tapered
tip and twist button – was also awarded the Red Dot. Following the successful introduction of the Drehgriffel Nr. 1 series
of writing instruments, we have expanded
the range this year with the Drehgriffel Nr. 2 and immediately
received another Red Dot Design Award.
Inspired by the original 1920 design. The Drehgriffel Nr.1 makes a striking statement, with its hexagonal silhouette. The narrowly tapered tip, like the twist mechanism, comes in a colour that contrasts with the body.
